Game of Thrones Caricatures: Robert Baratheon

Game of Thrones Caricatures

Well, I haven't posted here in forever, and while recently I haven't done much in the way of drawing for fun, I have done a lot since I last posted. I spent pretty much they entire month of October drawing people's characters on the Nanowrimo forums for National Novel Writing Month. It was hectic but overall it was fun and I learned a lot and improved. (All of those drawings can be seen here: http://rewind-me.deviantart.com/gallery/27161133)

Anyway, I have now gotten a job and moved to New York, which is still crazy to me. I've spent the last three and half months pretty much consumed by Game of Thrones news and marketing in the lead up to the show premiering last Sunday, which has been a lot of fun but very distracting. So I decided that it was time to merge productivity with my current obsession and thus I bring you Game of Thrones caricatures, sort of continuing the style from the LOST caricatures.

Here is the first: Ned Stark

More to come...

Lost Caricatures

So I've been kind of pathetically rewatching LOST lately. Maybe trying to figure out what happened or just enjoying it again. In any case, I had tried to draw all of these characters when I first learned how to draw caricatures and they were all pretty bad so I thought I would give it another shot. Some of the likenesses are a little off but I can say that it is a vast improvement over those early drawings...trust me!

Moshi Monster for Mind Candy Application

An action pose of one of the moshi monsters for the mind candy application. The monsters are all very cute and this was fun to draw.

Archer Finished

Finished Archer this weekend. I really need to learn how to draw buildings. The second one is a version with my potential Nanowrimo title. Yay for cheesy fantasy covers!

Archer Progress

My character has a name...now if only I could flesh out that plot...hmmmm....darn plot holes!
